• If there is too much flow the Diaphragm will wear below the retaining ring. A small reduction in
speed can result in a substantial increase in the life of the Diaphragm. By reducing the flow through the cleaner. (using the flow control valve).
• Diaphragms can stretch and become less effective. Remove the cleaner from the pool, check
the diaphragm for tears or excessive stretching by inserting a $2 (aus) coin into the diaphragm
while holding it upright. If the coin passes through without shaking or prodding, replace the
diaphragm.
