Pryda Strap Brace is an easy-to-use, flat strap, steel bracing for roofs, walls, ceilings, and floors.

Complies with Australian Standards AS7120.1-2010, AS/NZS1170, AS4055-2006, AS1684.2-2010 and AS1684.3-2010 when installed according to Pryda’s Design Guidelines.

• Ideal for bracing applications where timber braces are not feasible because of their thickness or because timber cant be bent, e.g. exposed beams or rafters.
• Easily and quickly tensioned using the Strap Brace Tensioner – simply by driving the hex-head screw or turning the wing nut.
• Saves on-site labour time as studs do not have to be notched. The unnotched studs can often be a smaller size and hence cheaper then notched studs.
